Who we are

Amudat Interreligious Development Initiative (AIDI), was founded in 2009 as A Community Based Organization, registered as A Non-Governmental Organization in 2018 with a registration No: BRS-INCC-5-18/37768 registered under section 18(3) of the Companies Act 2012 to empower, involve and serve inadequately served communities (ISCs) in Uganda in order to address issues of human rights and gender equality, HIV/AIDS/TB, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, access to justice, Economic Empowerment and Poverty alleviation and all human sufferings.

AIDI operates and implements its activities in Karamoja region in North-Eastern Uganda with possibilities of widening the scope to Northern and Eastern regions in Uganda and across the border with Kenya and Southern Sudan.
